Trisafe foot spray - antimicrobial for athelete's foot and to protect from odour

Description:

* Athlete's foot is caused by fungi that infect the skin (dermatophytes). 2 most common fungi involved are

Trichophyton rubrum (71.2%), and Trichophyton mentagrophytes (5.5%)1.

* 7 in 102 people will suffer from Tinea Pedis – commonly known as Athlete’s Foot, in their lifetime.

* Athlete’s foot is a long-term, recurring condition with average duration of 8.83 years, that results in itch,

pain, odour and embarrassment.

* The illness is currently treated with antifungal creams, which takes on the average 4– 6 weeks to treat, but

does not prevent recurrence. Prolonged usage will lead to antifungal/antibacterial resistance.

* In most case, bacterial infection is accompanied with fungal infection, leading to foot odour. Most market

available treatment creams works only against fungal infection but not bacterial infection.

: Each foot has about 250,000 sweat glands which produce approximately 1 cup of sweat daily¹.

* Foot odour is caused by sweat and bacteria such as S. epidermidis, S. aureus, P. granulosum, C.

minutissinum and B. subtilis².

* In an environment like shoes, which can be warm, dark and moist, bacteria can multiply at an

uncontrollable level.

* Bacteria will break down the protein molecules in the sweat and generate acids that can cause

unpleasant smell.

* Our Anti Odour Foot Spray works effectively against both athlete’s foot fungi and odour-causing

bacteria, thus being able to remove itch and odour simultaneously.
