The two patented enzyme systems in Orateneare:
LP3 System
The LP3 system combines three potent, naturally occurring enzymes - Lactoperoxidase, Lysozyme and Lactoferrin. Each enzyme has its own unique properties and when combined, pack a powerful antimicrobial punch. These 3 enzymes are derived from dairy products so they are 100% safe and gentle. Used in oral care, these enzymes destroy bacteria and fungal microorganisms while restoring oral balance in your pet's mouth.
MD2 System
The MD2 enzyme system is the second patented enzyme system in the Oratene oral care line. These natural enzymes are Mutanase and Dextranase. This unique combination works to make plaque water soluble and unable to bind to the tooth surface, providing a natural and effective brushless system.

Enzymatic Brushless Oral Care Solution
This flavorless concentrate is added daily to drinking water to provide the safest, healthiest way to conveniently clean pet's teeth, freshen breath, kill germs and remove plaque without brushing.
There is no simpler way to clean your pet's teeth!
For complete protection, use in conjunction with oratene toothpaste gel.
Direction
- Shake well, add 2 pumps per approx. 1 qt. (4 cups) of drinking water.
- For maximum effectiveness, add to fresh drinking water daily.
Oratene Oral Gel
Recommended for serious oral conditions such as stomatitis, gingivitis and periodontal disease.
The addition of potassium iodide creates the hypoiodite ion to make this gel bactericidal, fungicidal and partially virucidal. It contains the most potent enzyme formula in the Oratene oral care line, yet is safe and gentle on sensitive, irritated mouths.
Direction
- Apply about half an inch strip to gums once or twice daily.
- Continue use for 5 - 7 days or until condition subsides.
- Best if used in the morning, at night or after meals.
Oratene Toothpaste Gel
Enzymatic Brushless Oral Care Solution
It inhibits harmful, odour-causing bacteria and removes plaque biofilm. The gentle formulation relieves, soothes and protects mouth tissues against dryness, irritation, inflammation and redness.
Ideal especially for cats that don't drink much water.
Direction
- Apply a half an inch strip to the upper and lower gums twice a day for maximum effectiveness. 60 day supply in a 70gm tube.
