About Medex Far Infrared Lumbar Support S
Heat therapy, also known as thermotherapy has been used as a means of pain relief for many centuries. It is an effective way of relieving cramps, muscle aches and joint pains. Modern medicine has developed over the years so that small scale heat therapy can be self-administered via products like the Medex Far Infrared Lumbar Support S. When heat is applied to a sore area, it improves circulation by causing blood vessels to dilate. With an increased diameter of these blood vessels, red blood cells carrying oxygen is able to travel faster and supply the required nutrients to the area. This increased circulation also speed up the removal of carbon dioxide and other waste materials. This will in turn help faster repair of sore muscles. The heat causes the structures to expand and relax. Tightened muscles will relax and any nerve compression will be eased, reducing pain or cramps over the affected area. It is important to note that heat therapy is beneficial but also come with risk of burns if applied for prolonged periods of time exceeding the recommended duration. Always read the instructions of products prior to use to avoid any unwanted adverse reactions or further injuries.
