  • Fresubin 2kcal Drink is a high energy, high protein and nutritionally complete oral feed that formulated for the dietary management of patients with or at risk of malnutrition such as elderly, patients with chronic wasting disease, peri-operative and post-operative patients. 
  • Free of lactose and gluten.  
  • Halal and Kosher. 
  • Fresubin 2kcal Drink contains 400kcal and 20g of protein in one bottle, which is the minimum effective dose needed to improve patient outcome.
  • Fresubin 2kcal Drink is fibre free and suitable for patients who cannot tolerate fibre or with fibre to maintain gut physiology.  

INGREDIENTS

  Water, glucose syrup, milk protein, vegetable oils (sunflower oil, rapeseed oil), sucrose, maltodextrin, potassium citrate, flavouring, emulsifiers (E471, soya lecithins), potassium carbonate, acidity regulator (E 507), sodium chloride, sodium carbonate, vitamin C, magnesium oxide, iron pyrophosphate, niacin, zinc sulphate, manganese chloride, pantothenic acid, Vitamin E, copper sulphate, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin B1, β-carotene, Vitamin A, folic acid, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate, potassium iodide, sodium selenite, Vitamin K1, biotin, Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12.

Directions to use
To be determined by a health care professional according to patient’s needs. Recommendation for supplementary nutrition 1-2 bottles (400-800 kcal)/day or complete nutrition 4-5 bottles (1600-2000kcal)/day. Shake well before use. Store at room temperature.

Contra-indications

  • Not for parenteral use.
  • Not suitable where enteral nutrition is not permitted.
  • Not suitable for infants under one year of age.

Precautions

  • Should only be used under medical supervision.
  • Use with caution in children under 5 years.
