Administering Enema: Remove the protective shield from rectal tip before use. Hold bottle upright? grasping grooved bottle cap with fingers. Grasp protective shield with other hands? pull gently to remove. With steady pressure? gently insert enema with the tip pointing towards naval. Squeeze bottle until nearly all liquid is expelled. Remove tip from rectum. Discontinue use if resistance is encountered. *It is not necessary to empty unit completely. The bottle contains more than the amount of liquid needed for effective use. A small amount of liquid will remain in bottle after squeezing. Keep the child in position until urge to evacuate is strong (usually 2 to 5 minutes). Indication: Suitable for the relief of occasional constipation and bowel cleansing. Dosage: Children over 2 years: 1 bottle (59ml delivered dose) or as directed by a healthcare professional.
